Free Rock Chip Repairs for Life on Windshields We Replace

Windshield Chip Repairs

When valueGLASS replaces your windshield, you receive free rock chip repairs for the life of that windshield. If a rock hits it later, contact us. This is an ongoing benefit of having your windshield installed here, not a repair performed on some other piece of glass during the installation appointment.

We want you to get useful life from the windshield you bought. Giving you a reason to bring a fresh chip to us promptly is part of that commitment.

What to do when a new chip appears

Get in touch with our Bremerton team and let us know that valueGLASS installed the windshield. Your name, vehicle details, and approximate installation date help us locate the job. Send a clear photo if convenient, including a wider view that shows where the damage sits.

We then assess whether the new damage is suitable for repair. Size matters, but so do its location, depth, condition, and any cracks extending from it. Avoid adding glue or other products before we inspect it.

Free repair still requires repairable damage

A benefit cannot make every broken windshield repairable. Long cracks, certain locations, or other damage may call for replacement. We explain that finding rather than attempting an unsuitable repair simply because it is free.

This benefit covers rock chip repair on the windshield we replaced. It should not be confused with free replacement of a windshield damaged by a later impact. Workmanship concerns are also a separate conversation: if you have a problem with our installation, tell us so we can assess it directly.

What a finished chip repair looks like

Repair treats the damaged area with a resin system. The aim is to stabilize suitable damage and improve its appearance while keeping the existing windshield in service. A repair can leave a visible mark; we do not promise that every chip becomes invisible.

Before work begins, we discuss what is realistic for your particular break. You deserve to understand the result, even when the repair itself costs you nothing.

What if another shop installed the windshield?

You can still come to valueGLASS for an assessment. Our self-pay rock chip repair price is $39.95. If you want to use insurance, we can help you check whether your policy covers the repair and what you would owe.

We are an independent, veteran-owned shop serving Kitsap County since 2014. Our windshield replacement service comes with support after installation because the relationship should last longer than the transaction.
