Keep the affected area out of use
Direct customers and employees away from loose glass and the damaged opening. Do not ask staff to pull remaining shards from a frame or continue using a damaged glass door. If the incident involves an immediate threat or injury, contact the appropriate emergency service first.
Photograph the damage only from a safe position. If you lease the property, notify the owner or manager so responsibility and access can be coordinated.
